BLOAT

All things who are know for strengthen the tendons, as the stomach of a dog is held by tendons & ligaments (e.g. lig. gastrolienale & others). At the OP of a Gastric torsion usually the stomach is stitched to the abdomen wall (to avoid another torsion).
Silicea is known to help to strengthen tendons & ligaments. Silicea comes as tablets and powder.
The GAG-Products on the market are said to be effective in strenghten muscles, tendons, ligaments (adviced for many purposes, might be helpful for that too).

Alles was dafür bekannt ist, Bänder u. Sehnen zu kräftigen, könnte helfen, da der Hundemagen quasi an Bändern hängt u. sich dadurch bei entsprechender Bewegung und/oder Aufblähung leichter dreht als der menschl. Magen. Durch diesen Drehen entsteht eine Art "Magenverschluß" - nichts kann rein, nichts kommt raus, der Mageninhalt beginnt zu Gären.

Es ist bekannt, daß vorwiegend ältere Hunde mit tiefem Brustkorb (trifft auf nahezu alle Groß- u. Riesenrassen- Ausn. Windhundrassen - zu) betroffen sind und im Alter läßt - bei Mensch und Tier - die Festigkeit von Bändern u. Sehnen nach.

Silicea = Kieselerde ist dafür bekannt, Haut, Haare, Nägel sowie auch Bänder u. Sehnen zu kräftigen. Silicea ist in Tabletten- u. Pulverform erhältlich.
Die GAG-Produkte sollen eine positive Wirkung bzgl. Stärkung von Bändern, Sehnen und Bindegewebe (!) haben und könnten somit evtl. auch hilfreich sein.

HYPOTHYREOIDISM

There are some "natural hormones, taken from plant-extracts" known; I have no idea whether and how this might work on Hypothyreoidism.
