C o n t r a c t
Between the breeder

and the purchaser/buyer (name, surname, address, post-code, place, country)

the following c o n t r a c t is made / a g r e e m e n t takes place:
Term of the contract is the puppy- dog / - bitch

The costs/price for the puppy is _____XX $_____, plus all additional costs due to transport,
such as transport-crate, certificates of authorized vet etc. and flight expenses.
Necessary vaccination, deworming, vet-control is always included in the price.
The transport-crate is $ – crate-training with the puppy is done by the breeder.
The breeder is responsible for the correct data on
contract,
health-certificate, pedigree and all other documents, given to the purchaser.
The breeder assures the purchaser that no major faults,
illness etc. of the puppy
are known at the time of purchase.
The breeder assures the purchaser that all the necessary
vaccinations, deworming against distemper, hepatitis,
leptospirosis, parvovirosis was done properly and hands over the Identification
of vaccination
(International Health Certificate) to the purchaser.
The purchaser assures to the breeder that he/she/they saw
the puppy in a good condition and assures,
that he/she/they have the knowledge and conditions (appartment, house,
garden etc.)
nec. for raising a Leonberger puppy.
The purchaser assures that the puppy will be integrated into the family
- not to be held in a cage, isolated in kennel etc.
The breeder can't take any liability for faults due to the
fact that the puppy
was treated wrong - raised the wrong way etc.
The purchaser assures that he/she/they will stick to the rules
of the
animal protection law valid for the country he/she/they live.
( ) The breeder assures the purchaser that s/he/they will order the Export-pedigree and do the
nec. work involved with that - and that the pedigree will be sent to the purchaser as
as it is given by the kennel club / cynological association of the country.
Additional terms of the contract:
The purchaser is kindly asked to show the to a vet for at least HD-X-ray (ED-X-ray is recommended)
at the age of 18 - 24 months .
The purchaser is kindly asked to tell the evaluation
/rating - done at the country where the purchaser lives,
due to the rules of that country - to the breeder.
This information will be helpful for further breeding-combinations and is
therefore important.
The breeder reserves her/-himself (theirselves) the right to
see the dog
(twice p.a.) if s/he/they would like to do so.
For puppies leaving USA / Canada /Europe (here put in the
country/continent, where you live)
an update on the dog’s well-being (photos/emails etc.) is requested.
By any knowledge about mistreating or kept under wrong / bad
conditions the breeder reserves him/-herself (theirselves)
the right to get the dog back (for a max. price of
- usually max. 50% of puppy price )
- and in case of very serious faults due to thepurchaser
s/he/they reserves her-/himself (theirselves) the right for getting back
the dog gratis.
The breeder asks the purchaser to provide the information immediately
in case of selling the dog
(name, address of new owner) or in any case of placing the dog somewhere else.
The purchaser receives the "map of instructions"
for the puppy including feeding recommendations,
further vaccination & deworming, some general recommendations about raising
and training a puppy.
No other terms will be valid, each other terms / changes of
that contract
need to be made in written order as an annex to this contract.
