A none-Leonberger
but German-British history
of another kind !

Mrs. Burger from Leonberg travelled to London with several Danish Dogge's.
The stuff at the entrace didn't understand any German, and Mrs. Burger didn't speak any
English either !!!!

They wanted her to buy a entrance-ticket which was refused by Mrs. Burger

"I'm an exposant and besides that - I'm the famous Mrs. Burger from Leonberger, everybody
has to know me .....and
I GO IN" !!"

I laughed a lot about that story and I hope you will be amused too !!!

This article was printed in the "Hundesport und Jagd"
= Dog sports and hunting, Aug. 25, 1892.

It hasn't to do with the Leonberger but with a Mrs. Burger from Leonberg
who attended a dog show in London - yes, at this time, remarkable, isn't it!

She was there with Doggen = Great Danes - and I really wonder as Mrs. Burger
spoke no English, the staff at the expo spoke no German -
but somehow she managed to enter !!

It had been (as I could figure out from the German text) a "resolute" lady !

I thought you might like that "funny" story !!!
