In Memoriam "Belle"

"Belle" - Cavis Leonis Belle

born: March 13, 2998
died: August 12, 2004
at the age of  6 years and nearly 6  months - far too early
and not at all necessary if appropriate care would have been provided

Bella was a puppy out of the breeding-alliance with a Polish breeder;
she flew together with Benjamin to Japan (Mr. Fujita) in June 1998
and things seemed to be alright until a penfriend told me that Mr. Fujita
passed away and the leos live now at another place.

To shorten a long story (which isn't my story indeed) I was contacted in August 2004
by an nice lady telling me how "sad and heart-broken" she is: Belle lived at
this place, together with other pets, as a loved family-member for 31 days.

She never recovered from a C-section of 04/2004 and Aug. 12 she was
scheduled for being spayed, complications arose and she died
finally in animal hospital.

Belle is the mother of several FINE leos, living in Japan & as Belle was Teddy's
daughter these pups are Teddy-grandchildren; luckily we were able to
get in touch with some families so that we get updates on these leos.

We will never forget her as she lived in our house for 2 weeks before leaving Europe for good.

We share her owners grief but we know that she will live on in her children
which are luckily found loving home in Japan.

Good bye - Belle - we won't forget you .....!
